One of the most rewarding aspects of our work as photographers is the incredible people we encounter along the way. I first met Mark Simpson from DesignOffice 20 years ago, when we were both starting out in our careers. Over the years, we've built a cherished friendship, and I’ve had the privilege of photographing Mark and Damien’s thoughtful designs for nearly two decades. At the close of 2024, they commissioned me to photograph Cult’s Showroom before its move to Abbotsford—something I had also captured when it was originally built in 2011.

I also had the privilege of shooting DesignOffice’s new studio in Collingwood re-imagining a previously extended heritage brick warehouse in the inner city and featuring in The Local Project.

I was honoured to be part of this illustrious panel of eminent photographers, curators and gallery directors judging the 2024 Head On Photo Awards.

I was honoured to be part of the prestigious INDE.Awards Jury for 2024, celebrating photography as part of the programme for the second year. Thanks to Indesign Media Asia Pacific for partnering with Image Makers Association Australia in support of ‘The Photographer - Residential’ and ‘The Photographer - Commercial’ award categories. I look forward to being part of the 2025 Jury and enjoying all the incredible imagery from photographers throughout Asia Pacific.
